MCS’ Susan Cipione Joins Von’s Vision DFW Executive Board

McGuire, Craddock & Strother Shareholder Susan Cipione has been appointed to the DFW Executive Board of Von’s Vision, a national non-profit foundation established by Super Bowl 50 MVP and Aggie football legend Von Miller to provide low-income students with eye care and fashionable corrective eyewear.

Susan joins a group of business and community leaders on the organization’s DFW Executive Board as it expands into the North Texas region. In Dallas, the foundation will be launching a series Von’s Vision Day and Von’s Vision Center outreach programs as students return to school this fall.

Since 2013 Von’s Vision has provided more than $4 million in free eye exams and free brand new, fashion-forward, high-quality corrective eyewear to more than 7,500 financially in-need children and students. The foundation started in Denver and College Station and has expanded into other regions, most recently Dallas.

“Wearing glasses hasn’t always been cool, I was one of those kids who broke my glasses and had to go to school with them taped up,” Miller says. “With the glasses our foundation provides, these kids can build their confidence wearing the same glasses I wear.”

A Texas A&M alum herself, Susan is a shareholder in McGuire, Craddock & Strother’s Commercial Real Estate, Finance and Corporate & Securities practice groups.
