Harriet Tabb Elected to Fellowship in American College of Real Estate Lawyers
Harriet Tabb, a shareholder in Dallas-based McGuire, Craddock & Strother, who has spent most of her career working in the area of retail and mixed-use development, has been elected a fellow in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL), the premier organization of real estate practitioners in the United States.
Selection for ACREL is based on peer nominations followed by a rigorous screening process to identify lawyers with strong practices, positive reputations, and a demonstrated commitment to improving the practice of real estate law.
ACREL seeks to promote professionalism in the practice of real estate law through educational materials and to improve and reform laws that relate to real estate through policy discussion and involvement in the legislative and regulatory process.
With Ms. Tabb’s inclusion in ACREL, McGuire, Craddock & Strother has three real estate lawyers who are fellows in ACREL. In addition to Ms. Tabb, MCS shareholders Jonathan Thalheimer and Thomas Whelan are members of the organization, which has fewer than 1,000 members across the United States.
“It’s a huge honor to be selected,” says Ms. Tabb. “It means your peers consider you a leader in your area of this practice, that you have unique skills, and have performed quality work over a period of time.”
