Texas Super Lawyers Honors Five From McGuire, Craddock & Strother

The 2014 Texas Super Lawyers list is out and soon to be published in the October edition of Texas Monthly. This year’s list includes several familiar names from McGuire, Craddock & Strother. Firm shareholders Mark Chevallier, Steven Kennedy, Jeffrey Seckel, Marc Taubenfeld and Thomas Whelan are each repeat Super Lawyers honorees. The five attorneys are recognized for a range of expertise: Chevallier and Taubenfeld for business bankruptcy, Kennedy for construction litigation, Whelan for real estate law, and Seckel for business litigation. To identify the Texas Super Lawyers honorees, researchers solicit nominations from more than 70,000 lawyers in Texas. A blue-ribbon panel of attorneys and the publication’s editors then select the final honorees, who account for less than 5 percent of all Texas attorneys.
