Steve Kennedy Elected Chair of the Dallas Bar Association’s Construction Law Section

MCS is proud to announce that shareholder Steven E. Kennedy, head of the firm’s construction law section, has again been recognized as one of the leading construction lawyers in the state by his election as chair of the Dallas Bar Association’s Construction Law Section.   A licensed architect and certified neutral arbitrator, Steve has built a reputation in the construction industry and the bar as a top expert in construction law, and this recent election offers him the opportunity to share knowledge and collaborate with other construction lawyers from Dallas and the surrounding area.

Steve has been actively involved in the Dallas bar and the construction law community for a number of years.  He is the co-author of the Texas Lien and Bond Claims Handbook, published by the DBA’s Construction Law Section, and co-author of O’Connors Property Code Plus, published by Jones McClure Publishing.  He is a regular speaker and writer on construction law issues for CLE conferences and legal education services.  Last year, he served as Vice Chair of the Governing Counsel of the DBA’s Construction Law Section.
