MARC W. TAUBENFELD
Biography
Marc has extensive experience representing both debtors and creditors in business bankruptcy matters and, to a lesser extent, in consumer cases. Marc also has extensive experience in representing both Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 Trustees, and Creditors’ Committees, in bankruptcy cases in a variety of Chapters. Such representations have included companies in manufacturing, transportation, retail, health and medical, and oil and petroleum-related industries. Marc also has extensive experience in commercial litigation, representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants in commercial transactions, sales and acquisitions of business, real estate transactions, leasing transactions, as well as representation of lenders and borrowers in connection with loans, loan modifications and work outs. Such representations have taken Marc into all levels of Court on both the State and Federal level. In 2007, for the third consecutive year, Texas Monthly and Law & Politics Magazine has named him a " Texas Super Lawyer" for his work in bankruptcy law.
