STEVEN D. DAVIDSON
Biography
Steve has been engaged in the corporate and securities areas of practice since being admitted to the Texas bar in 1980. He is an Oklahoma native who received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Oklahoma. While in law school, Steve served as an Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review and was a member of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. He is a past Chairman of the Corporate Counsel Section of the Dallas Bar Association, and is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the American Bar Association. He is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Oklahoma.
Representative Experience
Steve has provided representation regarding a wide range of legal issues arising in connection with the selection, formation, organization, capitalization, operation and liquidation of corporations, general and limited partnerships, joint ventures and other forms of business entities. These transactions have included mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buy-outs, reorganizations, shareholder disputes, workouts and contractual matters. He is also experienced in federal and state securities regulation and has represented issuers in a variety of public and private securities offerings, as well as tender offer, proxy solicitation, periodic reporting and compliance matters.
